Great hidden gem of a fishery. Good mixed fishery with amongst other fish species are Barbel, Chub, Bream taken on pellet, boilies, meat, etc and Pike + Perch on spinner and deadbaits etc + Campsite with hookups available. Parking and bivvy set up behind your pegs.

Great day out fishing. Good parking with large part of the river to fish on. Great in the summer time. You have many pegs on both sides.

The owners are tidying up the bank's for the anglers fishing the river it's looking good. The pools look quiet activity wise not much coming out and nothing topping.

Great place! Great owners! I just feel if you havent got the end of the island it's impossible for barbel unless you have waders. Place needs good maintainence because of to much over grown pegs especially on the meadow section which was full and couldnt get on but could if the over grown pegs have been sorted.

Well I am utterly shocked that someone who was not even a customer can even make such a rude review! I really hope some day you have someone as rude as you enter your personnel property and speak to you the way you spoke to two elderly ladies I really hope you didn’t kiss your mother with that mouth!
But on the other hand this is a very picturesque spot we have met the nicest of people here all friends here 😀 which does not need the likes of people like the rude foul mouthed D

I am not a customer of this company, however I moored my boat on the river and began to walk my dogs in a completely unmarked field. A very rude elderly woman appeared on a golf kart and proceeded to belittle us and exclaimed we were on private property. When asked where the signs were to say it was private she stumbled her words and told us there was a sign next to some bins. After meeting her at the bins we were told the sign was on the gate, which there were not. She passed blame to "someone I don't know must have removed it" as if this was our fault. I cannot comment on the company, but I am appalled at how this woman treated us.

Fishing was hard on the day but a lovely venue. You can park behind your swim in many places. I caught a couple of chub.

Fishing at anchor meadow was an excellent experience, the owners are lovely and welcoming. My younger brother and I turned up for a night fish last Saturday at 7pm we took a walk around the swims to see what was going on, the lower side of the weir was a little busy so we headed towards the slower water swims. We finally settled down at peg 1 for the night and both went home with catches we will be returning very soon for more great fishing.
