Great place for the older person or the younger ones who want to learn. More difficult than many think. Come and try the course.

Great place if your not confident in your ability and don't want to be a burden on other places. Cheap and friendly too.

Great little place for beginners and for practice, but it is not what i would call a "proper" course, but then it not "proper course prices and is still challenging for me.

Fantastic course which has been a pleasure to play throughout the summer and look forward to another season, playing with new players this course is a perfect introduction to the game and got them hooked!
Couldn't recommend enough

Great golf course and local professional is a real character. Worth the 2 hour drive every 6 weeks or so

Wonderful little course, nu bunkers, but does have hazards of other kinds. Lack of bunkers due to it being on a flood plain and the possibility of the sand being lifted into the stream ( so I believe ). Probs a cracking guy, always helpful, Benross Speedfit dealer, 18 and a nice 9 hole par 3..

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Ideal for novice golfers in terms of it being a quieter course, with less of the snobbery I've found elsewhere. Likewise there are some challenging and testing holes that will keep the more seasoned engaged. If you're after exquisite greens, gardens and water features, then look elsewhere. But for a cheap and good day of golf, it scores very highly. I look forward to visiting again and developing my game!

The course is ideal for newbies or people trying to improve their game but the course is simply too easy with almost no hazards outside of some dug trenches and the river.
The greens are all the same and a little too small for some of the holes length. A couple of them also need some TLC. The lay of the course is almost completely flat with only a couple having slops and mounds.
However, it is a cheap and cheerful course, the staff were very friendly and I would look at playing there again in the future just so I can beat my score. At least worth a try.
